I'm not a pro, but I have owned and used this camera since 2003. With at least 300 rolls under its belt, this camera has performed outstandingly. Metering and shutter speeds remain dead on. For the price, I am buying a second F80 body... and this is Dec 2009! Another thing I must stress is the body's toughness. Without a metal chassis or gaskets, this camera has been used in the mid Himalayas, high Andes, Peruvian desert, in the midst of a typhoon in Korea, -32C snow storms in the Canadian prairies, +34C constant rain in China, storm chased, splashed with water a few times, and dropped a few times, among other tough environments. Just get one, film is definitely more reliable than digital.
