“wrong cover and bad customer service”

- when re-checking for quote on a comparison site, got a call immediately from them asking me for a renewnal and passed on to the sales team
- the sales team tell me i was on the wrong cover for the last one year and i will not be covered (no renewal)
- get an email the next day that they have charged me anyway for a year of renewal without my permission
- i call up again, get an apology and a promise of a call back after discussing with the underwriter (hiscox)
- no call back so i call up instead to talk a very rude person who instead of answering my question asked me if i was interested in renewing with an inflated premium or not
- cancelled my insurance and waiting for a refund now and a call back from the manager that i had asked for (i was told manager was too busy to talk)
very disappointing.
