“I was led to buy the Ricoh rdc-7 primarily because it...”

Good Points
Very, very good picture quality. Good looking digital camera which is fairly intuitive to use.

Bad Points
As mentioned in previous reviews, AVI has to be played in supplied software for some reason. Sound quality is poor, although that doesn't really bother me. Battery performance not brillant.

General Comments
I was led to buy the Ricoh rdc-7 primarily because it was a neat looking 3 megapixel camera that had fallen in price quite dramatically recently. Not the best of reasons, but I have been very impressed by what I got. Setting the white balance stops the flash, which forces 'slow shutter' and without the tripod gives for fuzzy pictures (then again, if you've got more stable hands than me you should be fine). Overall, a great digital camera for someone who doesn't require shutter or aperture priority etc...Or like me doesn't really know what that is!
