“DRINKERS NOT WELCOME!”

written by Coleman101 on 01/01/2015

I called in here as I have done for 30 years and felt most unwelcome.
Yes this is or was an old traditional romantic Yorkshire Bronte pub with a roaring fire but its geared to diners and couples.
Yes I have eaten there in the past and to be fair the food is good albeit expensive but I wont go again while under the current management.
If you want a pint on your own or with a family this is not the place. In short your custom even though it is in the middle of nowhere and you have to drive to get there is not valued and that is how I felt. I have kept going in don't know why and have always felt the same.
Sadly people get complacent when the till is busy and business is good but they forget families spend money and they should always remember their customers.
Anyone else dined or drunk here feel the same?
