My soon-to-be ex-husband has used LinkedIn as a means of looking up potential women with whom he could solicit affairs. Sadly, he succeeded at least twice that I know of, but attempted many more. I know this isn't a reflection of the site itself or the majority of its users, but if your spouse uses this site be aware of who they are connected with. I wish I had been. If something doesn't make sense then get suspicious. For example, if a pharmacist is 1st level contact with an HR manager at a logistics company chances are they have nothing in common professionally so why would one recommend said pharmacist in areas of expertise they know nothing about? The next thing you know there are hang up calls from private phone numbers on the house phone and calls from Arizona on the cell phone bill. After some snooping I found their private messages to each other planning my divorce and their marriage! Needless to say I deleted my profile and will never reactivate it because I don't need that level of humiliation.
