“Good coins and bars, but very slow to dispatch...”

I heard many great things about Atkinsons Coin & Bullion, so I gave them a try. The first order I made with them was in the beginning of November, I ordered three coins. It may seem a low number but I always order low when dealing with a new seller. Unfortunately, one of the coins I purchased was out of stock when I made the order, I was fully aware of this and they assured me it would be in soon, so I went ahead with the order thinking Atkinsons are a big company with a good reputation they'll get it to me in a few days. How wrong I was. The order wasn't dispatched for 7 days even though the coin was back in stock 2 days before, why? When the coins finally arrived via Royal Mail special delivery, they were in excellent condition and well packaged, so no complaints there. When I made the original order, a few internet articles claimed there was a large increase in silver and gold sales in the UK. So I forgave Atkinsons and decided to give them another chance.

A few days ago, I made a new order, again, only a small amount of coins were ordered. All the items were in stock this time, and I thought the coins and bars would be dispatched/delivered quicker this time. Sadly, this was not the case. I checked Atkinsons website and one of the coins I purchased is now out of stock? Accuse me! When I ordered my coins/bars all was in stock, so there's no excuse this time!
Atkinsons Coin & Bullion really need to sort their website out. What happened to `First come first served` Clearly your website is deeply flawed with bugs, So change your software technology, Atkinsons.

Based on my experiences with Atkinsons, I won't be buying from them again. If anyone reading this review wants to buy from this company, my advice is - If you order anything, keep track of your order daily. Because based on the evidence, Atkinsons seem to reserve their stock for larger orders. If your order was in stock but now it says it's out... Complain by telephone immediately. But I'll be taking my custom elsewhere.
