Had our boiler installed 3 years ago, within a few weeks the thermostate became faulty and wouldnt work so called out the installer who replaced it but said he's never had to replace one before as they never go wrong. 18 months later the timer started to lose time and wouldnt turn on heating at set times, this was a intermittiant fault so not constant and wpould work ok for months then suddenly paly up, but now its stopped working all together, have tried calling vaillant but they said parts only covered for 2 years and we are just over the 2 years so would have to pay £260 for them to fix the problem, also noticed that the boiler pressure keeps increasing and have had to release the pressure but it keeps going up after a couple of days, water is getting in but its not via the loop in filling system so can only mean the cylinder is faulty which will mean a very exspensive cost, all on a boiler thats less then 3 years old.........
