“NOT AS DESCRIBED ”

Booked Clarisse Hotel on line through booking. We were unable to stay at this hotel as it was not the hotel described on their website. We arrived on the 3rd October. The receptionist said it was a very small room but would be ok because we did not have suit cases. So we had a look before we checked in and she was not wrong you could only just get round the twin beds...the smallest Hotel room I have ever seen. We immediately went back to reception and said we will not be checking in as it was not what was described on the website and the pictures were misleading!!! She said it was the only room available so we told her we could not stay in that room and then left to try and find somewhere else at 7pm. We were disappointed and worn out from travelling and now having to find alternative accommodation. It was very intimidating area with large groups of youths hanging around. The area where the hotel is situated is very undesirable with massive high rise blocks used for social housing. The Clarisse took the full payment from my creditcard and will not refund it. They are saying we stayed there for 2 nights yet I have proved we stayed elsewhere to booking. Booking agree we never stayed there but can't make the Clarisse pay the money back. The receptionist is dishonest and has lied to booking . So don't be fooled by the description and pictures on booking.
