My daughter had a policy with BUPA as well as my son. My daughter was ill and the GP recommended an allergy test to identify any possible foods that may be causing her sickness. A referral letter was sent to BUPA who refused the allergy test. My daughter was very ill at the time and this was explained that the NHS would take up to 6 weeks for her to get an appointment. My daughter is only two years old and BUPA stated that she had previous symptoms which is why the GP is asking for an allergy test. BUPA had no sympathy towards a two year old child. I find this absolutely disgraceful and warn all parents not to go with this provider they have no duty of care at all especially to children.
