“NEVER AGAIN - DEPLORABLE RETURNS & CUSTOMER SERVICES”

I would not buy online at USC again and I do NOT recommend the USC website to anyone. USC online needs to get on par with other more successful chains' customer-friendly returns and customer services.

1) Very unfriendly, unhelpful and useless customer service. I had called the customer service as I was trying to buy various items including a couple of full ticket price items not on sale. Called the 0845 number which obviously cost a lot but although I was 1st in queue I was put on hold for a while (I suspect to get some 0845 profits, there is a standard waiting time required for customers) and when I asked the lady about why I cannot apply student discount on the full ticket price items (and I tested it on a variety of full ticket prices to prove the codes are not working including new codes given out hourly after registering my account as student account with uni email). Basically she gave all sorts of excuses why it won't work and insists that there is no way for her to try the process out because she is not a student. In the end after wasting my time and money she said to call back tomorrow because the person who can help is only in the next day. Pass the buck, wonderful customer service.
2) The flip flops that were sized as UK8 were more like UK5 or girls' flip flops although they were classified under womens'.
3) The 2 pairs of Rocket Dog womens' high boots UK8 are actually a small fit more like UK7.
4) USC online do NOT allow return for refund at USC shops unless it is an exchange. Nor do they do gift cards. Unfortunately, they do not have UK 9 to exchange for....
5) It cost me £13 to mail back 2 pairs of boots and 1 pair of flip flops to USC online.
6) Returns form does not contain Refund options, USC is obviously trying to dissuade and make it as difficult as possible to customers to refund.
7) Very unfriendly return/refund conditions.
