Staff were really polite and apparently helpful, spending a long time on the phone advising us regarding appropriate accessories for the replacement bike. They advised that accessory choice was limited and they could recommend the best fit!
We couldn't get the helmet that we wanted. We had to change the style of bicycle. Looking at pictures on a website is not the ideal way to but such an important item. e.g. how can you tell its weight or handling or true colour.
In the event, we ended up with lights that would not fit on the bike and pedal clips when the bike pedals do not have the necessary holes to take the clips, oh and there were no bolts anyway.
It is painful enough for a teenager to have their pride and joy stolen after less than six months and have to cope with a replacement bike which is not as good in their eyes as the one they had chosen in a shop. But to then find that the whole thing doesn't come together is really quite upsetting.
Lastly it was aggravating that we went through the ordering process twice. Once with the Insurance company and then again with Wheelies, because they said that the Insurance company had advised us wrongly. Ha!
