“Many pluses . . . few flaws”

written by Traceq1991 on 28/09/2014

The build quality and attention to detail are amazing: excellent welds, wonderful plating/paint, no cheap plastic. Decent power strong brakes, silent & trouble-free belt drive needing no maintenance are only a few oif the strong points. Every Sportster needs Progressive fork springs, better shocks, and a softer, more supportive saddle. The Evo engines are bullet-proof and after 10,000 miles on mine I see no leaks, seepages nor have I experienced any problems/annoyances. Compared to other bikes, the Sportster looks lean and lithe. Not exactly happy on long hauls, it is a runabout without peer.
