“Fishing exercise, bait with low prices, sell at higher!!”

Originally offered a price on their website, which when phoning to enquire, was not actually available. However, I was offered another, higher price. (This must be the minions of the group manning the phones all day and night, punting for commission) 5 days later phoned to book and that price was no longer available. okay I accept that the flights may have gone up. Although they were still offering very low price (still not available though) on their website. Phoned back 15 minutes later and spoke to different member of staff (another minion) who offered a better package at £7 cheaper so I booked it. Less than 12 hours later another member of staff phoned back, they were unable to honour the price due to computer error and required an additional £100 pounds to confirm the booking. (I assume this would be the closer of the scheme)

I'm convinced that this is how these internet companies achieve the majority of their bookings, offer 1 price, get people committed and then change it to a higher price, before actually booking with the airlines or hotel. Doesn't cost them any money until they have booked with the airlines or hotels.

Strange how their computer errors always end up costing the customer more money, never less!!
