“Utterly useless in almost every possible way”

I'm unfortunate to have a hand full of business accounts with Santander. Up until the last few years I've always found them fairly easy to deal with, polite in the phone and knowledgeable staff. Since then it's quite the opposite. They switched me to "Corporate" for a few months, what a disaster that was, some inept fool sat in my meeting room, no idea who I was, why he was there, no idea what facilities I use, and zero product knowledge. Threw him out.

The online banking I find ok, but now every time you try and make any changes to the accounts, adding a signatory, removing something etc they fail miserably. You don't hear from them unless you chase them up. You can't speak to the department "who deals with that" (whatever it is you're trying to do). Awful service!
