“Could be so much better”

It has been a while since I purchased the shutter - but I have to say I was pretty disappointed.

I ordered three of the shutters all with various issues:

Shutter 1 (lounge) - this was entirely my fault, I stupidly measured incorrectly and got a shutter far too small for the window. Anyone buying these please just make triple sure - I was stupid and rushed it.

Shutter 2 (bedroom) - unfortunately when the professional builders installed it, they pointed out that the wood has somewhat worped - possibly getting wet in transit - this made the shutter bow out, and not close flush. Which was quite annoying.

Shutter 3 (bathroom) - this shutter was perfect, apart from a couple of small chips in the paintwork and a corner looking like it had been dropped. Fortunately when up it wasn't that noticeable.

All in all it is far too much effort to get a replacement - especially when the builders had already put them up. I dont think I would use California Shutters again. Any would like one, I have a spare one going for free!
