I went onto their website and found a gorgeous veil that I wanted to order. I checked the price of their shipping and saw that there was free shipping available. I put the veil in my cart, proceeded to the check-out, selected free shipping and paid using my credit card.
Then the problems started. Firstly, the amount I agreed to pay and the amount charged to my card were different amounts "due to changes in the exchange rate" (something they claim to only adjust twice a month). Fine, it was only 30c, I was still getting a beautiful veil.
Wrong! Next day I get an email telling me that I owe them money for the shipping of my veil. I wrote back explaining that I had selected the free shipping option, so no, I didn't. They insisted that I did and I sent them screenshots of the free shipping option. They wouldn't tell me why I had to pay, only that if I didn't pay, they would cancel my order. Since the shipping was almost twice the cost of the item, I refused and told them to cancel the order. I told them that they were deceptive and misleading, and this was when they finally told me that free shipping only applied if you bought a dress with them.
They did not acknowledge that nowhere on their website did it state this condition, nor explain why the cart was processed with free shipping without a dress in it.
Terrible customer service, incredibly deceptive, avoid like the plague.
