“AVOID AVOID!”

We booked a coach with Momentum coach hire to travel with a sports team to Belgium. Despite numerous calls whilst organising, the company assured us we only needed one driver. The coach arrived and the driver had no knowledge of the itinerary, said he couldn't do it, rang his boss who told us to unload the coach, he wouldn't take us. We calmed the situation and agreed to miss one of our proposed stops. The alternative was to disappoint the whole team.
The driver then told us he didn't have enough hours to get us home. We had no choice but to pay another £300 on the spot. The relief driver ( the owner) then met us on the motorway, apparently followed us down the M1 and when he met us, demanded the organiser got off the bus,accused the kids of messing around on the coach ( we apologised if they had been) threw a punch at him and then called the police!!! The police duly arrived (whilst the owner was trying to throw the whole party off the bus) and they ordered the driver to drive us home! The man was un-hinged. The whole ordeal was horrific.
Momentum Coach Hire clearly do not check up who they out source work to and to date we have had no apology and no compensation of any kind.
The only thing we've had is a £25 discount off future bookings as a thank you for filling in a customer satisfaction survey!! LAUGHABLE!!!
