“absolutely terrible worse ever been to”

This is the worse organised airport I have ever been to and I/we will never fly from there again even if I won a free holiday.

Please avoid even if you get a good holiday deal...you may just miss your flight like others.

Flight out was at 0715 arrived at airport at 0515. Pre online check in already done took 1hr 50 mins to get through security.

50 mins queue to just get our boarding cards stamped- now flying on other budget airlines the same length of questions 10 - 15 mins.( no organised queuing system in place ) then the scanning machines were delaying and therefore blocking the gate upto a minute. Finally through that see at least 8 or 9 x ray points think oh well shouldn't be long now had all our hand luggage ready as requested...what a nightmare at one point actually stood in same spot for 10 mins no movement. I'm all for security but the problem is they are not organised it's as if the staff panicked as they wasn't expecting people!
Then the missus bag got rechecked for some reason although most of it was pre emptied in the box before x ray. The searcher didn't know what the problem was returned the bag to the x ray dude who shrugged his shoulders and shook head (nice security)

Finally get through to the duty free shop thinking good gate only on other side....Mmm afraid not sign saying 10 min walk. We actually just made the gate check literally walking up boarded plane with seconds to spare...god help us if we had the 3 kids in tow for this one. ( sorry kids back to sunny yorkshire I will put the paddling pool up turn the BBQ on and mum can get ice pops)
