“Very Unsatisfactory”

A long time after notifying Endsleigh of ceiling damage due to a storm we received a letter stating we were not covered as it was wear and tear and their report said a large vehicle had struck the back of our roof.

This is incorrect as our house is only 2 years old and there is no vehicular access to the back of our home.

As it had taken a long time and several lengthy phone calls to receive this letter regarding the damage we thought we would not pursue it any further as we felt Endsleigh were being difficult and it was not worth the hassle to continue.

However, when renewing our insurance the premium had escalated and when we tried to get insurance elsewhere we were being financially penalised with higher renew quotes due to this unpaid claim with Endsleigh.

We contacted Endsleigh again and it appears that the information on our claim was merged with another person's claim (the report states a different age of house, different owners and different claim details).

At present we are trying to get their error rectified but Endsleigh are not being helpful.
