We have travel insurance on this account and last year my wife was taken ill 2 weeks before we left on an expensive months holiday. She was not allowed to travel by the date that we left. I had spoken to NatWest when she first became poorly and they were very helpful and supportive. When we definitely could not go I contacted them again and they sent out the forms to make a claim, we got them the next day, filled them out and attached the doctors letter and returned them within the week. 2 weeks later we received a cheque in full settlement. Other than the odd car insurance claim we have never made any other claim in over 40 years. Very impressed
