“A good specification easy to handle digital camera for...”

Written on: 31/08/2001 by Michael Hart. (1 review written)

Good Points
prints on top quality paper are excellent up to A4 - the maximum size of our printer with little or no visible difference to a print at 6x4ins filmed in daylight. The camera specification is quite satisfactory as a non-professional camera.

Bad Points
The lens cover slide is not easy to use. It will not open properly and stops before the end of the slide and you have to give it another push to get it to open fully to let the lens out and is very very annoying when a quick shot is required. The LCD screen can be a problem in sunlight and could be larger.

General Comments
A good specification easy to handle digital camera for the non-professional. Easy to use with a decent zoom; ideal as a digital camera for general family use. We have taken around one hundred shots with the Finepix 2400 in eight months. we have enjoyed the camera so much, prior to purchasing the 2400 Finepix it would take ten years to take a hundred shots at our previous rate of use, a pity about the two minor faults.
