“difficult to deal with”

I needed to return a faulty item. This was made incredibly difficult and just returning it took about 10 emails back and forth. I was given wrong information because the customer service people didn't know their business. They also had no basic understanding of consumer law as despite the item being faulty, told me they wouldn't refund me until the manufacturer had examined the product. Took me 3 times of asking before I was given the manager's contact details. Really terrible, although I would recommend them if you have lots of spare time and your hobby is speaking to customer service people who aren't very efficient.
