“Incompetent and misleading”

This site is a nightmare to use. You think you are booking it with Bookit.com, but after booking a shopping/wine tasting tour with their buy one/get one package for 4 people, I received vouchers for only 2 people. I tried to deal with this for 4 days! You get the complete runaround, being told you have to call their other division, Destination Travel. But this company leaves you on hold for over an hour every single time! I never got through to them as they never pick up the phone! Bookit takes no responsibility even though it is their name, in really BIG print, on your receipt where they charge you the full amount but do not send the right amount of vouchers.

I noticed way too late that their are hundreds of reviews on the web with many complaints about this company. All I can say after the extreme frustration I went though is NEVER USE BOOKIT! There are plenty of better sites to use. I learned my lesson after this mess and dealing with the incredibly incompetent people at Bookit who don't even know how to use their own web site!
