“Worst decision we made when planning our kitchen”

We have had our fridge now for nine years and paid £3,000 for it. We reckon we have spent this amount again on repairs, parts are mega expensive and the fridge is expensive to run, We would not mind paying higher running costs if the fridge was reliable but it has let us down several times even heating up rather than cooling down!

We are now heading for retirement and are looking at redesigning part of our kitchen so we can get rid of the fridge! Even now I need to keep a bowl in the fridge to catch the excess water that leaks from the unit - fed up paying for repairs so making do until will rip it out!

My advice is don't buy a corner fridge - they also make a lot of noise!
