“Not for Families”

After 5 years membership my family are finally leaving. Total Fitness claimed to be a family gym when we joined with a wonderful schedule of activities and splash sessions for the kids. They may be scheduled but they don't exist. You turn up to the splash sessions to see nothing to entertain the children in the water. There is meant to be a giant inflatable and at the very least the several small inflatables they have hidden somewhere. If you speak to the life guards they are very apologetic and there is little they can do as the management between them seem incapable of ordering a new pump. Its hardly rocket science but after six months there is still no pump. The lifeguards take pity on the kids and will find the few ancient floats that remain.I wont mention the apparent football club that was on offer when we first joined. My son would turn up to no event. Staff would search for a person to run the session. After four weeks we gave up on that scheduled activity which didn't exist.

After 12 months of complaining to each new manager that appears for their few month stint we have given up. The kids don't matter to the management and once you have signed up you are tied in. You have to meet your contractual obligations but they just make promises after promises. Nothing ever changes.
