“Do not order anything off these people”

I placed 2 orders with powerhouse fitness.

The first was for a number of items of gym equipment. I paid for express 5 day delivery. I heard nothing regarding the delivery after placing my order and had to chase this company for a week in order to arrange the delivery.

Once the delivery arrived the spinning bike was missing the free computer that it was meant to come with. I contacted powerhouse and was told that they don't actually have any computers in stock and may not have them for many months. This was known when I placed my order. I would be contacted with further information as to when i could expect the computer. 4 weeks down the line I have still heard nothing.

Essentially powerhouse are inducing people into a contract by offering an additional 'free' product that they don't have and can't provide. Total breach of contract.

I placed a second order with powerhouse for various accessories. This order was placed online and i received email confirmation that the order had been received. Again I paid £6.99 for express 5 day delivery. Powerhouse happily took the money from my bank account. That order was placed on the 9th May 2014. As at the 17th June 2014 I have still not received the products via their 5 day express delivery. I have still not heard anything from them. I have contacted them and I was told that they have no trace of my order and this 'sometimes happens with online orders.' I was told I would get a call back but no call was received. I contacted them again today and was told again that they have no trace of my order. So in essence they have my money but I have none of the goods that I have paid for.

Please do not hand over any of your money to these people!!!
