I bought this product and started to use it, after a week my face was sore and I had broken out on what can only be discribed as acne, not thinking it was the cream I put the cream on day and night thinking I was helping my by now very sore face. My face became dry and sore and I went to the doctor thinking that I had a medical problem. After blood tests all showing there was nothing wrong I came quite distressed. I actually went to Boots to see if I would get anything to help !! Imagin my surprise as I was waiting in the queue to hear a customer complaining to the girl behind the counter about an allergic reaction to Protect & Perfect. It was then the "penny" dropped...........I left Boots without asking for any help ........ went home cleaned my face and used my normal cream.......within 24 hours my face started to calm and within a week my spots and very sore skin have cleared up. My eyes are now not swollen and watering. I am now reading up on the reviews to see this is more common that a few customers......if only I had read the reviews before I purchased Protect & Perfect I may not have been so distressed for the past 3 weeks + I will now never purcahse No 7 again. Also made worse when I took the 3 No 7 purchases back for a refund to be told you need to write to Boots, we cant give you a refund without the reciept. Even though my purchases clearly show on my advantage card. An awful product and equally awful customer service. Very upset ex customer.
