I Ordered a 4mm very heavy plain D shape wedding ring in size L1/2 quoted to be typicly 4.8 grams. When it arrived it was a very nice ring and fitted perfectly, but only weighed 3 grams. When i queried this, i was told the 4.8 is for the largest ladies size Q and smaller sizes would be far less. So be warned when ordering. Your new wedding ring may not be as heavy as you had hoped.
