In recent years, Ebel have insisted we send our watches back to Switzerland just to replace a battery. Costs have gone through the roof and the return time is up to a month - just completely unacceptable. I could have bought a replacement watch with the expense of batteries over the past few years. I found the Watch GP on the internet and emailed a few questions, which were answered very quickly. I decided to take the plunge (with slight misgivings, seeing my watch going to an unknown repairer) but I need not have worried. The service is unbelievably quick and a quarter the price of that charged by the main manufacturer. I received an email confirming my watch had arrived safely and 2 days later another email confirming it had been sent back by special delivery.
