“Wrong item sent - never resolved”

I have ordered from Daisyzoo previously with no problems. However the last experience has really put me off the company. I ordered a Hoopla Monkey (which according to the website was in stock) to be sent straight to a friends address. A couple of days after they had recieved the gift I saw that the wrong item had been sent - it was a puppy.

I emailed them (April 1st) with a photo to show what had been sent and they admitted that they had no Hoopla Monkeys in stock so I had been sent something else. I told them that this was poor customer service - that they should have let me know that it wasn't in stock - my email was completely ignored.

I than rang the owner who was not apologetic at all but he did say that he would sort something out - that he would ask J... to let me know if she could still get the Hoopla Monkey or is not ask me what I would like in return. I have hear nothing.................. it is now 19th May.
