“Perfect choice for the money spent!”

I bought my HN12-5 in January. When I've got it it had 3000Km (2000miles). Now I've past a magic 8000km (5000 miles) and the only problem I had was snapped push rod. It was an original japanese part (CG125 006). My bike is 2011 model, is kept outdoor so there are some small rusty bits on it, but it runs very well. I've done some modifications on it: smaller rear sprocket (38T) bigger front sprocket (17T), front windshield, led lights, Iridium sparkplug and plastic cover for a sparkplug, I did remove a original air filter and replace it with cone filter, I also drilled my exhaust pipes to increase air flow and finally I did change carburetor and manifold to increase size to 30mm.
I am a big guy (245lb) and before any changes my HN125-8 was able to cruize steady at 55mph burning 70mpg. Now I can cruise at 75mph with pretty much same fuel economy.
This bike is very cheap to operate, price of the new unit is also very cheap, inexpensive insurance and parts with addition to cool looking bike makes it perfect choice to many people.
I think that all of the stories about this bike related to the fact it is made in China are simply lies made up by people who never have had ride it.
Handling of this bike is perfect and very smooth, pleasure to ride. Acceleration is not very fast but more than reasonable, breaks are good and reliable, tires... I am going to change them as I think they are not so good in wet roads (bike have tendency to slide on wet road when rear break is even slightly pressed - it works perfectly on dry surface thou).
I do highly recommend this bite to everyone with tight budget but willing to ride a good bike!
