“Abysmal Stock Control/Service”

No wonder Debenhams are not doing well. I ordered something from them which was showing as in stock online. They debited the money from my account but a couple of days later I received an email to say the item was not available, despite it still showing as in stock on the website. Their email suggested I re-order but I got the item from John Lewis instead. I have waited anything up to 10 days for things to arrive in store via their click and collect service. This is a ridiculous length of time compared with, say, Next, where you can collect the next day. I would only use Debenhams again if I could not get an item elsewhere. Their service is abysmal.
