I took out LV premier cover in February 2013 to cover our 15 month old cat.
Despite not having any claims this years renewal price was nigh on 20% higher which I thought was excessive in the current financial climate. I pointed this out to them but to no avail.
To reduce the cost I decided to go with their lower level of cover. I was then shocked to find that they class this as a new policy, and as such it would be subject to the standard 14 day no cover clause.
This really annoyed me so I asked to speak to a manager. I was promised a call from one within 24 hours but it never came. I E mailed a complaint asking why the premium had gone up so much and they didn`t answer that either.
I am disgusted with them!.
