“Brochure misleading - Customer Complaints unlistened to”

I recently took a skival holiday with a group of friends.
The brochure clearly stated the chalet as Ski In Ski Out but when we arrived we found it was actually slopeside. Either a steep walk up a snowy bank to the piste or down a gritted road to a nearby piste bar.
A long way from how it was advertised "If Ski In Ski Out is your top priority then this is the chalet for you" and what we, as a group, were looking for (and thought we'd paid for).

We spoke to the chalet staff and they accepted it was not ski in ski out.
When we contacted the company, on our return, the attitude of the Customer Complaints department was, frankly, hostile.
Their approach was 'How dare you complain'.
No dialogue, and no attempts to see our perspective. We will be persuing in small claims court as Skival ARE NOT PART OF ABTA.
High marks for their on site staff but a big fat zero for Customer Complaints and for Misleading Brochures.
