“Gore Xenon 2.0 SO Bib Tights.”

written by Johny3sheds on 11/02/2014

Gore Xenon 2.0 SO Bib Tights.

Delivery. Spot on, Next day.
Fit. My measurements are 34”waist, 40”Hips and 29”Inside leg, so it’s always going to be a compromise, according to the Gore sizing chart, so I went for a Medium as I have short legs. Leg length is still too long but I can just about get away with it without them looking too saggy. Can’t understand why Gore have a leg length variation of only ½” in any size, it’s ok if you are tall with skinny legs, but one size does not fit all. Getting them on is easier than peeling them off. Snug on the legs, tight on the hips and waist. The zip on the front is not really long enough to enable comfort breaks to be taken easily.
Performance First time out I encountered two heavy showers. Although you could feel the temperature drop due to the cold water on your thighs they never let the wet in. My legs remained warm and dry even though the temperature was averaging 6-8 deg. The seat pad is excellent, still really comfortable after the 40miles or so. No restrictions were detected in leg movement during the ride despite the snug fit
Conclusions Does what it says on the tin, although for the money I would have expected a better range of sizes so suit us short legs.
