Thomson holidays might be ok if nothing goes wrong but if it does heaven help anyone trying to get a refund for out of pocket expenses which have been incurred due to them. We had already had one horrible experience with them so we are wondering why we booked with them again.
Our plane was delayed by over 19 hours and by the time we arrived at Gatwick, after midnight and an 8 hour flight, the trains had stopped running so we had to book into a hotel for the night. It hasn't really come as any surprise that Thomson have said they are not prepared to pay for the hotel or our breakfast.
Their customer service is just the worst imaginable. All you get back is a standard letter modified to suit your situation. We will be taking the matter further. Wish us luck.
