“Last Date to pay Credit Card account”

Brilliant, my statements often states the latest payment date is 8th of a month, that sometimes is a Sunday.
The actual statement date is around the 18th.

I have occasionally paid on-line the FULL balance payments from my current account on the previous Friday or Saturday by direct on-line cash transfer to Tesco
Yes, I admit TescoCC conditions do advise to pay earlier but Friday is my pay day
HOWEVER, Tesco CC don't deemed payments received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday as paid.
These are not acknowledged as 'paid' until processed the following Monday or Tuesday. Hence, they are treated as a late payment.

Common sense doesn't prevent Tesco CC computers adding interest (called an adjustment) to the following month's statement.
Today 27th,I have received by new statement dated 18th showing the amount owing due to the 'late payment. (It's only £3.70, but that's not the point)
I knew this charge had been added by checking my statement some days ago on-line.
I have already paid this 'interest' in anger.

This latest statement doesn't even acknowledge that I have done so.

My balance is now 'NIL' .
No more use of my Tesco Credit Card for me!.

Oh, by the way, just to get the latest 'payment date' varied to another time of the month.

It can't be done online, only by telephoning the call centre!

Why isn't there email messaging?
