“Whatever provides a breezy transition single between...”

Good Points
Released as an independent single.
The accompanying B-sides are both strong songs.

Bad Points
It's a single.

General Comments
Whatever provides a breezy transition single between the Oasis's debut album phase and their Morning Glory phase. Whatever, is the perfect Brit-pop collage of string instruments and rock musical tastes. Two strong B-sides and a cut from the debut album are also available on the single, which give the single a unique self-contained mini-album feel.
