“Latest Order”

I have used Screwfix for many years now, and they use to be really good, but lately they never have enough stock to complete my orders, and I have ended up buying the items elsewhere on the internet. My latest order was ordered online to collect from a screwfix store 25 miles away, turned up this morning to be asked for proof of identity. On the online receipt it tells you to take your receipt and the card you paid for the goods with to the store as proof of who you are which I did, but the staff at the store said because their system was down they couldn't check my card details, so I needed proof of identity, before they could let me have my order which was already paid for.

I insisted in speaking to the manager explaining I had travelled a long way, and the only thing I had with me was an old style driving licence, which didn't have my photo on, but I shouldn't need this. He very patronisingly said he would do me a favour this time! and let me have my goods,

WOW won't be rushing back to Screwfix any time soon, get some new management and sort yourselves out!
