“Sealskinz waterproof winter hat”

The hat arrived promptly and was the correct size and colour etc. It was ordered as a Christmas present for my husband so I obviously can't tell you if it does what it says on the tin yet. I tried it on myself and it felt very comfortable. The ear flaps keep your ears nice and cosy without being too constricted. One thing that did puzzle me was that it has small loops on the end of the ear flaps that look as though they're designed to hook onto something to keep the ear flaps up if you want. It also says on the package it has drop down ear flaps (or something worded similar), but there is nothing that I can see to hook them up onto. It just looks as though you wear it with the ear flaps down all the time. Why are the loops there? Anyway, I didn't lose any sleep over it and didn't spend a great deal of time playing with it, so maybe I missed something......
Over all: I'm very happy with the purchase and I think my husband will be too. Thank you.
