“It was a United flight (1 stop) which I'd hope to avoid. ”

As often as I tried to get a non-stop to Indianapolis I was repeatedly shown 1 or 2 stops. At any rate, the stop was in DC and relatively painless. All 4 flights left on time. And, we arrived early for all 4 flights.

More non stops.
