“Quite Hard Work”

I ordered a Cutting guard for an angle grinder, quoting its stock number. I was sent a Grinding guard instead, but it was labeled with the stock number of a Cutting guard. First, I had to email twice over a period of a week before I received a reply, which was to the effect that the correct guard had been sent. Mackay's did not know the difference between the two, and had been supplied (and were selling, presumably) Grinding guards labeled with the stock number of Cutting guards. The two guards are quite different in structure and serve quite different purposes. This is a serious safety issue, as use of an angle grinder without the appropriate guard would be considered an offense in an employment situation. I was offered an immediate refund, but thought Mackay's should have spotted this, themselves. The bigger error, of course, was made by the Manufacturer for sending out wrongly labeled safety gear!
