We have just taken delivery of a wooden coat hook from John Lewis and the item is clearly a damaged returned product from another customer. This is not the first time it has happened, a year ago we ordered a sleepy head baby nest for our new born baby which was delivered dirty with a returns label on the packaging. We recently ordered a pair of made to measure curtains and a blind in store, the curtains were damaged and the blind was the wrong type! Not impressed with the recent quality of products or customer service - this is not what we have come to expect from them having bought from them over the last 15 years.
