“Sexual Harassment at Mcdonald's of Fredericksburg”

I recently spent 6 months working at the McDonald's by Mary Washington college. I had just turned 21 and needed a job fast. Shortly after being employed I was harassed by a shift manager,along with five other coworkers. After a few months I contacted the police to file a report, my coworkers and I wrote statements which the human resources worker took. The issue was it was a woman harassing us, and it was a complaint that was taken lightly. She would talk about wanting to sleep with young customers, along with wanting threesomes with coworkers. We thought surely, she would be fired. But instead was moved to the McDonald's, 2300 plank road. One with a playground. It's amazing, how lightly the sexual harassment was taken and that she was moved to a family friendly store after it all. She had served two years in prison prior to her employment and the general manager kept her car safe for her. There was no winning, unless I had paid for a lawyer and gone to court. I'm warning everyone with young daughters to stay away from the McDonald's after hearing what we had to hear. My last week working at Mcdonald's, she had grabbed me by the arm, twisted it, and asked me to listen to her in an aggressive voice ( of course she was stressed out, after knowing her employment was at risk). Human resources, a worker took all of our written statements. But later I was told, that because Dorothy Green only harassed and used sexual language at our store - it was okay to move her. (To the 2300 Plank Road store, even more family friendly. What a joke) So hey, if you want to harass people this is the job for you! Awful unprofessional service. The owners will literally laugh at you if you try to make a complaint, they treat everything as a joke and will cut your hours if you try to make a statement.
