“close but no cigar”

Written on: 24/10/2013

this was the 1st time i have booked a holiday on line and was a little apprehensive about everything working out.
but as 1st the parking went to plan my mind eased and i stated to look forward to my holiday
everything subsequently went to plan until the night before we were due to fly back to England
we went out as usual on that day and had a great day but on our return we could not access our room we went to the hotel reception only to find that we were not booked in for that night and we would have to pay for the room whatever the event
we paid, but in the event we were panic stricken thinking we had got it wrong and that we had missed our flights back and we were late returning the car etc etc
on arrival back at the room we discovered that we had got our return date correct but TravelRepublic had booked the hotel one night short
apart from this everything went to plan and they do cover themselves by saying check all paperwork to make sure all is correct
at the end of the day it only cost us about £20 more than if booked in the 1st place
