“no customer service, deceivingly make out to be UK based”

having believed i was buying from a UK based company I decided to order a new DSLR. upon confirmation after the order had been processed I noted that the company were dispatching the item from Hong Kong. :-( I awaited for the tracking details, having paid for the insured delivery, which took days to come live. again after several days and no contact or updates on the tracking system I tried to contact EGlobalDigital on there help line, ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! as no answer EVER or returned call despite leaving my contact details. So I tried the online chat, that obviously only goes live in HK time, to be told that the tracking company were experiencing delays with there tracking system (was beginning to smell a rat but was pleased I paid by Paypal((claim within 45days of order to get help from them)). then the system updated to sent to UK hhmmmm, again more email(tickets) for update info, more fobbing off. EVENTUALLY after 30days from order the product arrived (not quite the 6-8 working days they claim) with the customs sticker marked as 'warranty replacement' (no customs duty paid by them then!!!!), obviously all the manuals/info are in chinese writing.

Lesson-do NOT buy from these people unless you are prepared to wait/are willing to pay the customs duty if it gets caught at Langley
oh and pay by paypal or with credit card
