I booked a hotel with travel republic on 8th Sept for staying on the 14th Sept, payment was taking when booked and confirmation receipt emailed.
We then arrived at the hotel to check in and the room was not paid for neither was the correct room type booked we booked a club double and was put in a standard twin, we complained to hotel and they were fully booked so we didnt stay and checked out there and then, they didnt have payment for the room anyway.
I complained to travel republic on the 15th sept and to this date present (22nd Oct) i havent heard from them, there customer service is disgusting, every time i phone i get passed off that someone will phone me back and they never do, i have emailed and phoned every day since then to try and get my money back and so far getting nowhere.
They are quick to take your money, never paid for the room we booked so in my eyes they have stolen my money!!!!
I will never book a room with them again and i advise everyone not to either!
