“BOOKING EARLY WITH MONARCH IS FOR MUGS !”

I regularly fly to Portugal with Monarch and have noticed that despite Monarch urging customers to "book early and save" this is not the case at all.
I have noticed that the prices on my last flight in July and my next flight in October dropped significantly as the departure date nears.
I have paid approx £200 too much!
In the past I never bothered to compare prices and booked early, always with Monarch. NEVER AGAIN.
It seems to me that Monarch are urging customers to take part in a scramble for last minute cheap tickets, a practice which harks back to the bad old days!
I would urge them to consider a price guarantee like Easyjet, whereby a refund is paid to early bookers in the event of a fare reduction.

Don't be a mug and book early with Monarch!
