“Are They God?”

As a Power of Attorney for Mother in law who is housebound and cant hear on the phone, Husband and I do the shopping, I had the phone slammed down on me when trying to order her a new card because she did not live with me and could not hear on the phone, the lady who did the slamming, told me that because she was housebound and could not hear would not be entitled to a card?? I explained she already had one, just wanted a replacement. Once again I was told, if she could not operate a phone or send an email ( she is 96 ) then no, she was not getting a card!! Lovely!
Thankfully, the second time I telephoned I received a favourable response from someone decent enough to listen and not believe themselves to be God.
