“Booking mistake”

I made a booking but was later taken ill, and unable to travel. Hotel Direct did their best to make to get the hotel to give me another date but I had taken a saving when booking by ticking the no change option, therefore this was not possible. All my own fault but HD did there best.
In future I won't take the small saving as it ended up costing me dearly
